[Original] [Full Size] This is a macro shot of the cork from a bottle of La Fin Du Monde beer that I took while messing around with an ETTL flash cable. The flash was hand held off to the right of the cork (direct illumination), while 3 incandescent lamps provided diffuse ambient lighting (a general idea of the setup can be seen here (only the nearest lamp was pointing up to bounce off the ceiling and the backdrop was the cloth instead of the cutting board). I like the combination of the "warm" light from the incandescent bulbs on the top of the cork and in the background and the harsher light provided by the flash. Taken with my 100mm macro on my Rebel XT.
